We were able to ask questions and complete some of the paperwork securely online, so that all we had to do was test drive and sign paperwork when we showed up for a pre-arranged appointment. They compared finance rates with multiple companies and worked with a local credit union to match the best one for us, which was awesome. While the goal is obviously to sell vehicles, we didn’t feel like they were being pushy or dishonest. Everyone was friendly and they made the process fairly quick and straightforward.

When we came into the showroom we were greeted by Andy Walton. He was also working with another customer but he made sure to check in with us until he was able to work with us. He listened to us about pricing and was so helpful with helping us to navigate the vehicle during the test drive. He explained the features and when we came in to pick up our car, he even helped me with setting up the app on my phone! This is our second time purchasing a vehicle from Bill Dodge and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new, or new to you, vehicle. Great customer service from the sales department. I have not needed their service department so I cannot speak to that, but if the people in their service department are as good as their sales department then it will also be a great experience. I had owned 3 Kia Sportage SUV’s and opted to try a new vehicle. I had purchased a new Hyundai Kona N. 4 years ago. Recently I had wanted to go back to the Sportage and began looking.around Bangor. I first noticed Bill Dodge Kia in Westbrook for the prices were significantly lower than Bangor. So we drove down. We met Anthony, what an amazing salesman! He shot for exactly what I wanted, from trade value to new vehicle. He did not try to sell me whatever would make him the highest commission! He actually Listened to my wants and my needs. From the moment I arrived he was wonderful. I just picked up and finalized the deal for my new Sportage with everything I was looking for. Chris in finance was great too. I opted to choose an extended warranty for we never know what can happen. Nadia was also great. It was an absolute pleasure working with Anthony, I would not have driven the 2 hour drive back down if he had not have made sure my needs and wants were inpirtant to him as well! I don’t remember exactly everything I said in the first review, as I gave it a few days ago, but, I certainly can talk about my experience, which was an amazing one! Very low pressure sales tactics, I worked with a newer employee named Zach, who is a car salesman, and he was incredibly kind, generous, helpful, understanding, patient, and went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of and that all of my needs were met, and questions were answered. We had a lot of time to chat during the process while we were waiting for things to go through the proper channels. We talked about a lot of different things, and he’s a really sweet, solid, well mannered, amazing young man. He’s definitely an asset to your company! I also want to send a shout out to Bryan, AKA “Wick”, who is the finance manager. He’s very charismatic, outgoing, happy-go-lucky, positive, made things very easy for me when it came to the paperwork and the financing. He took care of all of that for me so that I didn’t have to do any of that on my own. Considering I was in a horrible accident with a commercial dump truck recently, they really helped me and took care of me. They understood that I had some difficulties with moving around and concentration, and a lot of times I would forget what I was saying in the middle of saying it. It was very embarrassing for me, however, Zack and Wick both reassured me each time and said that it was okay. They understood, and to take my time and not to worry about it. So, thank you. Thank you all. It was an amazing experience, especially considering the situation that I’m in. I don’t think I could’ve had an easier buying experience elsewhere. I want to also add that I did share with them some issues that I encountered in the past when buying cars and, I feel that they really understood and they really made it a point to reassure me that things would work out for me here and with the vehicle that I ended up purchasing. And they searched for and delivered the car and color I wanted within 3 days. The 2026 Tucson is a great ride, significantly better than my 2022 Santa Fe.

In August, 2025,I attempted to purchase a BMW M2 from BMW of Westbrook (Bill Dodge Auto Group). The dealership provided me with a signed build sheet and confirmed the order. I also provided my payment information for the deposit. The next day, I was told that the order could not be processed unless I added a $2,600 option. This requirement was not enforced by BMW’s official configurator or the dealer’s system, and neither the sales representative nor management flagged it when approving the build. When I asked the dealership to honor the agreement or absorb the additional cost, they declined, offering only to cover part of the sales tax. I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Maine Attorney General’s office. The AG noted they could not mediate since the transaction did not complete, but they have forwarded the matter to the FTC for review. While this particular issue no longer appears with the 2026 BMW configurator, my experience with the dealership was disappointing. Even with signed paperwork, written confirmation, and my payment details on file, they would not stand behind the agreement. I believe they engaged in unfair trade practices. I encourage future buyers to proceed cautiously and confirm all build requirements in advance.

I purchased a vehicle a week ago. I picked it up at night in the rain. Very excited but did not go over the vehicle completely. I drive home park the vehicle in my garage. I go out a few days later and there is a crack in the windshield. The response I got from Bill Dodge is “it’s like buying a cellphone, if the screen cracks when you walk out the it’s not covered.” I have never had a $40,000.00 vehicle compared to a cellphone. Bill Dodge is all about selling their customer loyalty program so the customer is loyal to them but to the same customer they are giving turning their backs and giving them the middle finger. Do yourself a great favor DO NOT BUY from these people.
